Questions?
The options for accommodation are rustic cabins or bring your own tent/ RV (under 26'). For General Attendees, cabin choices will come out on April 19. You can sign up just for yourself or you can gather a group of 4 and get a cabin together. PLEASE NOTE: There is not enough cabin space for everyone. We would like to prioritize space for people flying in and for folks who don't have camping gear. So, if you have the ability to tent or car camp please be prepared to possibly do so.

We have a registered nurse as well as wilderness first responders on staff in case of emergencies.
This is a community event and it literally takes a village to pull it off. All attendees (excluding core staff, volunteers, and certain Giving Back ticket holders) are chipping in at least one volunteer hour. Sign-ups will come out on April 19. Many hands make light work :)
MFC is designed as an adult-focused experience, and the venue itself isn’t well-suited for children’s safety. While we truly understand that childcare can be a barrier for some, we’ve decided that the general policy will be a limited number of children at the event. We’re open to discussing exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
No. Mendocino Woodlands does not allow dogs on site, unless they are a service dog. If you have a service dog with you please bring certification papers with you. Park rangers may ask you to see documentation.
No, there will not be a meat meal ticket this year, nor meat served by MFC.
This year, we are serving all vegetarian meals, with a delicious, nutrient-dense menu that includes vegan and gluten-free options.
So, why this change? In the face of the current administration, climate change, environmental degradation, and human rights concerns, our team sees this as a meaningful act of positive change.
The choices we make about food have a profound impact—not just on our health, but on the planet, workers, and animals. In fact, what we put on our plates is the number one thing we can do to help stop climate change and make sure that we have clean drinking water (among so many other things). We want to align MFC with our values while still ensuring that everyone is well-fed and energized for the weekend.
We recognize that dietary shifts can be an adjustment, and we’re committed to making delicious and nourishing meals. If you have concerns about getting enough sustenance, rest assured—our kitchen team, led by a holistic nutritionist, is crafting meals designed to sustain you through the long days and nights of dancing.
While meat will not be served by MFC, you’re welcome to bring your own meat to supplement your meals if you wish. There will be outdoor campfires for roasting, though we cannot provide refrigeration, and open flames (candles, gas stoves, liquid fuel lanterns, heaters, etc.) are not permitted in buildings, cabins, or tents.
The volunteer roster is currently full. If you want to get on the waitlist to volunteer, click here.
People registering at the 'Giving Back' level will receive ONE choice of a special perk to make your weekend even more comfortable and amazing. Giving Back tickets help compensate for the lower income tickets. If you can 'give back' we appreciate your contribution to the community. Giving Back perks include ONE choice of:
Priority choice on cabins (including the 10 person cabin with heat or choosing your cabin of 4)
Sleep in a 10 person group cabin with heat/electricity/bathroom (Limited space available)
Exemption from the required one hour of volunteer work
Special snack/goodie bag to make your weekend even better
